| A guide for researchers. How to apply The Neurosciences Foundation welcomes applications for neuroscience research funding from staff members of the Institute of Neurological Sciences. The Foundation is particularly keen to support applications from junior investigators and pilot projects that could eventually lead to major funding. The Foundation is also interested to know in advance of any potential applications to be submitted over the next year. Contrary to popular belief, there is not a threshold of £10K, but value for money will be a determinant. There are two application rounds per year. Calls will go out with confirmed deadlines 6 weeks in advance. The next deadlines are 13th July 2012 and 18th January 2013. Grant applications must be submitted electronically, using the Word format application form. Completed forms should be returned to Christine.Atkin@ggc.scot.nhs.uk.
